Another Composer Coffee #1-9
Another Composer Coffee, our brand new invention, will kick off the year as early as January, when Damkapellet invites you for Sunday coffee, to present and tell about female, non-binary or trans composers of all times. Each time we have a new composer in focus – from history, or a now living female composer who, during visits, talks about her life and musicianship. We talk about their lives and their music, listen to, and/or perform live music by the portrayed composer – all with a good cup of coffee in relaxed form, where everyone is welcome. This event is an attempt to create a closer connection between audience, composers and musicians, where we can meet and get to know one another in eye level. We also believe that an increased knowledge about each other and the composers whose music we perform, can contribute to a deeper feeling of function and understanding. Another Composer Coffee will take place nine times during 2020, where the first time will be January 26, when Guusje Ingen Housz (NL) visits us – we would love to see you there! It´s for free!
